360° Photography
360 Photos
At Two Moose Home Inspections we take 360-degree images of the exterior and every room of your house.
These images allow you to to look left, right, up, down and zoom into every picture we take. This will allow you to have a complete record of the condition of the house on the day of the inspection. Please click on a few of our examples.
Does My House Need 360 Photos
Since we take 360 photos for free at every house that means that every house gets to have 360 images taken of it. This is great if you love the way the previous owner decorated the house, or if you want to have a wonderful record of the house before the big remodel project!
We started using 360 photos since many of our customers either purchase the house sight unseen or only have a limited amount of time to familiarize themselves with the house. Our 360 photos allow you to tour the house from your cell phone or computer.
Our customers have also leveraged the 360 photos to help contractors provide accurate quotes and help interior designers to build off of the existing floor plan and color scheme.
What Could Go Wrong
360 images have helped to protect the buyer in many different ways. A common use of the 360 images is when the seller removes personal items and damages the walls. The buyer is then able to clearly identify that the damage did not exist on the day of the inspection and can request repair work to be completed by the seller.
If a purchase agreement states that the furniture in the house at the time of the inspection stays with the house and then the seller replaces expensive bespoke furniture with IKEA furniture after closing on the house, the buyer is able to hold the seller accountable.
The Two Moose Home Inspections Process
When we arrive on site we first document the exterior of the property with the 360 camera and then we start inspecting shortly after. Once we have completed inspecting the exterior, we then start taking 360 images of the interior before we touch or move anything in the house.
This allows us to document the condition of the house before we interact with the house. After the home inspection has concluded we then upload our photos and connect them to the home inspection report.
Our pricing and availability is located on the Two Moose Home Inspection website when you click “Schedule an Inspection”. You can schedule everything online and you will see an invoice and pre-inspection agreement from us once we get access to the house from the homeowner.
