24 Hour Reporting
Your time is important and that is why our reports will be complete and delivered to you electronically within 24 hours of the time of the inspection.
The human eye can only detect so much, and that is why Two Moose Home Inspections includes thermal imaging for every home inspection at no extra charge.
Radon Gas Testing
Radon Gas is a naturally occurring gas that rises from under the ground, accumulates in homes, and is the second highest cause of lung cancer in the United States, just behind smoking tobacco.
This is why we recommend a minimum test period of 48 hours for every home. If the test indicates that a dangerous level of radon is detected, a second test for seven days is recommended prior to installing any Radon Mitigation System for the home.
Well Water Testing
Unsafe well water can pose a serious risk to your family’s health and safety. If a private well is your primary source for potable water, we highly recommend a water quality test.
Two Moose Home Inspections offers three levels of water quality analysis depending on your risk factors and concerns. The samples are collected by Two Moose Home Inspections and they are tested by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment.
If you are pregnant or if you have young children, it is imperative that you test for nitrates in your drinking water. If nitrates are present in your water and not treated, it can lead to a condition called methemoglobinemia in pregnant women and infants and place you and your child at risk of death.
We can also test for the pressure and flow of your water to ensure that you have enough water to support your family’s needs.
If you unsure if you need to have your water tested, ask yourself these few questions.
• Is there anyone in the house who is pregnant or nursing?
• Is there a newborn baby in the house?
• Does the water have an odor or bad taste?
• Are clothes or fixtures being stained by the water?
• Has the water changed in color or clarity?
• Is there any mining or possible chemical or fuel spills nearby?
• Are any family members suffering from an unexplained illness?
Additionally, if you use well water for drinking, you should test your water annually for Coliform, E. coli, Nitrates, and Nitrites.
We all have responsibilities throughout the day, from work to taking the kids to after-school activities.
The home inspection itself takes about two hours, and if you need a home inspection to start early in the morning before you go to work, or in the evening after the family has had dinner, we are happy to work within your schedule.
At Two Moose Home Inspections, we have a strong desire to keep the quality of workmanship at the highest levels. Since Two Moose Home Inspections is a single inspector company, all your inspection needs will be given our personal attention.

Two Moose Home Inspections prides itself on providing the best possible home inspection that we can. We have invested thousands of dollars into software and data collection to ensure that we are on the cutting edge of technology and reporting.
Every home inspection includes thermal imaging which helps us find issues that are invisible to the naked eye.
Many home inspectors don’t go on roofs because roofs are dangerous and no home inspector is required to be on a roof. At Two Moose Home Inspections, we use safety equipment and years of experience to safely inspect the roofs of most all single-family homes.
If you live in Colorado, radon is a major risk that is present in every home. The requirement for testing is to use two measurement devices in tandem. We use a professional grade unit that records radon with four sensors in tandem which insures accurate results.
If you have a private well for drinking water, we can collect samples to test your water for dangerous bacteria, chemicals and metals. We can also test the pressure and flow of your water to help determine if the well is large enough to support your water needs.
Our goal is to educate you about the systems and features of your new home and to let you know what is normal within a house and what is of serious concern. Buying a home can be stressful and that is why we want to build your confidence and understanding so you can make an informed decision with confidence.
The complexity of a modern home makes it a necessity to have software that is tailor made for the home inspection industry. This software reduces the likelihood of missing something and provides you with a detailed electronic report that can be printed.
Our software is cutting edge and we believe it has the best user interface available on the market. Our radon detector utilizes double the required number of sensors working in tandem to ensure an accurate measurement, and every home inspection includes thermal imaging.
Buy Back Program
If during the home inspection we miss a material defect, which is an issue that might have a significant adverse impact on the value of your property, or that poses an unreasonable risk to people, the International Association of Home Inspectors will buy your home back at the price you purchased it for during the first 90 days.
When choosing a home inspector, it is imperative that the home inspector be certified and insured. Two Moose Home Inspections is fully insured to cover errors, omissions, and general liability.
